Dec 5, 2015 - This, is guide to one of my favorite genres in gaming, Visual Novels. EROGE WARNING here; Many Visual Novels are Eroges, meaning they have NSFW content. Scenes in any series ever, and is unlike anything you'll ever see. Three esports in the world: League of Legends, Dota 2, and StarCraft. Visual Novels, Mobage & Anime Spin-Off Games. Translated eroge visual novels. If someone can point me in the right direction/ website, or give me a list, I would.
So, I've seen a few series centered around people that play these types of games/read these types of novels, or have characters who do such, and it got me thinking that I have never played any of these games, and, being an avid gamer, found this to be unacceptable. I did some google search's, but most of the topics that come up for the broad search's that I did were spoiler threads, or discussions about the state of these types of games in various areas. So, I was wondering if anyone could suggest some decent/good ones that either have been translated, or were originally in English, as my grasp of the Japanese language is not yet sufficient to do pretty much anything without assistance:P. Thank you for anytime spent reading this, and any formulating a response.
Riptos said: Little Busters is the best VN I've ever played. Really would love to see it adapted sometime soon. ^ For serious story, I only found little busters and katawa shoujo to be worth my time. Granted, my collection isn't very vast. I think KS is a good starting point since its just originally in english and incredibly easy to get your hands on whereas getting little busters patched correctly and 'free' is quite a pain. Although, LB is definetly the best written VN I have ever played. Ninja tune vol 2 torrent.
If you are more interested in humor, tits, and more tits, Sengoku Rance is one hell of a game and incredibly fun. But it is really full of ero. Like really full. I recommend Steins;Gate. It's such an engrossing game with very likable characters and a crazy plot.
I'm currently playing it on both my PC and iPod Touch and I can't get enough of it. I should have watched the Anime after playing the game first, not the opposite. Another game I recommend is Kara no Shoujo. It's a dark and twisted murder mystery, but man, it's so good.
It has a fair share of sexual and violent content, and can be quite depressing in every route you go. But, it's a must. Last, but not least is G-Senjou no Maou. It's a fast-paced battle-of-wits type VN with lots of intense moments and some attractive female characters. I simply loved playing and finishing this last year. Inb4 this thread becomes a Katawa Shoujo general Just came to say that it's the first VN I've ever played, I downloaded it purely due to all massive influx of attention it's been getting in the past few weeks from VN first-timers.
And I was not disappoint. I've been really impressed with the game, and it's definitely surpassed all my expectations. I can't think of any other game format I've played which has had such an affecting storyline and character development in the unique way which KS presents.
It's a game that really does make you think introspectively about how you think and feel, or deal with the issues presented in the story. Sorry for being so generic, but I really have to sing the game's praises, like so many others who've played it. It's set a really high standard, for me, of how a VN should be.
