@Jokabaku Need a little more information to help you out, what error are you getting, are you just crashing to desktop without any message? In that case check your event log viewer. Right click start button 'Run' and type 'Eventvwr.msc' (press enter). Then on the left side look at 'Windows Logs' -> 'Application' or 'System'. You should see Forza7.exe (or whatever the exe file is called) in there somewhere.

If FM7 is in there, click on it and look below at the 'Faulting module' or a 'Exception code'. Error code is 0x803f8008.

I mean it just sits on the splash screen and does nothing. Had the same problem and fixed it by deleting the device from my Microsoft Account - - sign in with the account the Store is connected - delete the device and the other one is going in your windows store, sign out, and simply sign back in. Or try to create a new windows account (maybe the one you are using is corrupted somehow), something in your windows installation might be corrupt. I've paused download exactly 70MB in, installed it via powershell. It shows normally that I can play, it just sits on splash and nothing else happens, just throwing that error in event viewer.

I've tried singing back out and then in. Thing is, Horizon 3 works fine, Apex too. Can someone else test this with their standard edition? I am just not sure if this is correct behaviour or not. It's a bit complicated but at least for me it worked perfectly (found an URL thanks to Fiddler, and managed to download f7 in the 8h window, didnt have to refresh the url).

Powershell was a bit tough cos my download was on D: but again this thread was full of tips. It's the ultimate edition btw. I can now 'enjoy' my game today (took a day off the job just for it), despite the fact I realized t10 and Microsoft learned nothing at all since fh3; Windows store download joke. Then Cpu core 0 crazyness, which ending in weird random stutterings during races or ingame menus.

Noticed ugly tree textures on some tracks too, even if I'm on ultra everywere. My i7 4790k @4.5ghz /gtx1080 are laughing at me for my crazy forza love despite all this hate from t10 for pc gamers. Microsoft should be ashamed that players have to come to this, a company like Microsoft can't even create a store, they should embarrassed I couldn't agree more. A digital store that cannot handle a 95 GB game download without timing out and/or repeatedly restarting from 0% is a deeply flawed one IMO. When you have downloads of hat size then you absolutely must have a reliable method of delivering that content to your paying customers.

Valve, EA and Ubisoft manage that with their respective stores so why can't Microsoft? No-one expects innovation when it comes to digital stores; I'd be happy them just copying Steam. Heck, no, I'd just be ecstatic if Microsoft released their games on Steam, Origin and UPlay and bypassed their Store altogether! I am sure many other people feel the same.

Update on my activation issue. Turns out, microsoft was yet to charge me for the game. I had to uninstall it after microsoft finally charged me for pre-order and then obtain license again and THEN re-install through powershell.

Now, when I start up the game, it shows splash screen, then shuts down, and shows that game isnt' released yet - which is correct. This method works 100%. I don't know the commands you need to locate the file for the powershell after that you command powershell to install the game i used this code for install first located my file and second installed it 3.
